Why do you care? Are they forcing you to wager your money? Did they put a gun on your head? No. Whoever is falling for that scam and wagers more that he could afford to lose deserves to lose that money.
I bet most of the high rollers you see in the casino scoreboards are fakes. (maybe all of them)
The reaosn that OP might've cared is because OP is easily influenced by people on the Internet or that OP got betrayed by his/her favorite entertainer or content creator. This goes to show that we have to take everything that we see on the Internet with a grain of salt. I agree with @mindrust about the people that are falling for this scam deserving to lost.
