What makes you think that Bitcoin will succeed? Gold failed what exactly? Going up in price? If that's your only aspect, yes it has failed. However how is bitcoin going to accomplish that gold couldn't? By only going up or will it actually back the dollar? Because you know gold's original mission is being money and USD was backed by gold. Are you saying that we will have a bitcoin standard?
