Freebitco.in isnt taking over FUN Token thats a misconception. Freebitco.in simply uses / integrate FUN Token to their website to be used as some sort of access pass to the WOF feature. Its completely different
and getting binance on board with a competition? That is even better and shows how professional it is as well.
Wasnt this coming from either Binance or FUN dev and not freebitco.in?
That said, I would still want to see what the actual use case would be and if exchanges would be willing to get behind it. (It would be nice if we could see what the trading volumes would be, once it gets on the Exchanges) 
Im not sure if I am following this correctly but FUN is in exchanges and you could check the daily trading volume plus some other stuff here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/funtoken/.
