I know people don't like to hear this, but Ethereum is unfortunately not decentralised. Major decisions, like EIP 1559, the difficulty bombs, etc are made by a small group of people.

Bitcoin is fully decentralised, that's why nobody can change it, but Eth, Polka, Ada, Ripple, etc are controlled by small bodies of people. That is the definition of "centralised control".

For instance, the SEC would not be able to take Bitcoin to court, like they are doing with Ripple, because with a decentralised currency like Bitcoin, there is nobody to hold responsable. It is fully decentralised.
