Now I'm planning on a bit higher buy-ins, like $10 maybe. Apart from our BPS, I was never buying tickets for more than $6, but there's a first time for everything. 
You would do fine in Betnomi. A tight player like yourself suits the best in this field because most of the regulars in Betnomi are Loose Aggresive playe, some would even raise half pot out of position with just some bottom pair ( weird ). There are alot of those kind of players in Betnomi even in the higher buyin tournaments
I have the impression that most players everywhere are like that. They learn how to play poker from Daniel Negreanu, Tom Dwan and the likes, and that's why their game involves a lot of bluffing, much more than necessary, imo. It used to work in the past, but poker is a dynamic game, for which it's impossible to invent a strategy once and forever.
