Everyone probably knows these guys who say "once I win big I go home and never play again" but that's most likely not going to happen.
Adrenaline rush for sure especially if you don't have a plan before you gamble so you tend to continue playing hoping that you might win another jackpot but a the end of the day, you lose all your money and the worst will happen. Have been to Vegas a couple of times, started out super disciplined, ended up wasted and completely broke for the night Alcohol is a game changer in the most negative sense in gambling.
