I second that; that's a ton of merits being distributed by one member over the course of a single month--and that's why Theymos ought to make merit sources out of members who apply to be one.  From what I've seen, they tend to do a great job.

I dropped four spots this month, but my goal is to remain in the top 20 for as long as possible and I'm off to a decent start for April.  The "ranking up" thread in Meta definitely helps when it gets updated, because there's at least a list of members who are close to ranking up and need merits, which gives me (and other merit sources, hopefully) specific targets for merit distribution.
