Ya... the problem is I'm using CGWatcher and it was showing my miner was still working in the morning even though cgminer froze and the coolers on the gpus were still noisy. CGWatcher was showing miner hashrate at 1.3 Mh/s when I found it... so I'm guessing there was a bug somewhere. Will try to setup the mail system in CGWatcher though, thanks for that info Still would be nice if the multipool itself could send the alerts.
