You may need a convincing story with enough evidences to prove that you lost access to your account and the malware was posted by the hacker. If the story is convincing then you can request the account recovery team.

I was actively posting on WO at the time, and even the person who reported the malware post had the remark that I was most likely hacked. I have no reason to waste years of reputation over a few bucks I'd get from spreading malware
