Talking about reaching 100k then its possible for this year but it would really be needing some sort of adoption news and events for the price to rally up even more but if we wouldnt able to see one then dont expect that we would really able to reach that level.
I guess even without any good news/events, FOMO which is already being created due to the current huge price levels of around $60k, will be more than enough to take bitcoin markets into $100k levels. Because, bitcoin has already made known to many new investors and definitely they will be watching out and when someone from somewhere will be buying for no reasons then most investors will be getting into FOMO. This way definitely we do not need any external factors to trigger another round of bull run which is believed an enough round to reach $100k from current levels.
