Fake news stories about fake quantum computers threatening the integrity of cryptographic protections. Which some said jeopardized bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Fake news stories about crypto being safe havens for criminals, drug cartels and money launderers. Fake news about bitcoin being a bubble. Fake news about bitcoin's energy consumption being fueled by environmentally unfriendly sources of power.

There have also been many fake negative stories published on Elon Musk/tesla/amazon and other topics which would appear to make them politically motivated.
