As others have said, even if your post gets merit, it can still be deleted if it is not of quality. Merit is sent from the perspective of the sender, there is no real rule about posts that may receive merit. Review of the quality of your post also depends on the mod's perception, and also who reported it. I'm just curious, your deleted post has been made since last December.
