Yes I know and I rage at how long it takes BTC to move around compared to a lot of alts.
True, a lot of altcoins do have faster block times. They probably chose between 314 seconds and 31 seconds. Of those 2, I support the choice for 314 seconds. It's still basically half the block time of bitcoin.
