We are re-launching FaithCoin!
We did manage to succeed in building a strong community when we first launched faith coin. At the height of our success, we managed to have 7000++ active members in our telegram group where we hosted games and trivia’s every day and did a lot of airdrops and bounties. We did manage to list the token on a few decentralized exchanges and a few CEX, with the listing of yobit being the most significant achievement.We also launched FaithDEX, FaithCoin’s own decentralized exchange. We had a lot of exciting projects ahead of us, but unfortunately, the financial and emotional toll of maintaining such an enormous project did not come easy. That is why the main developer left the project and, unfortunately, so does the community.
Now that the main developer of FaithCoin is back onboard, we are again ready to innovate and put this project back on track to success. And we want you to join our journey to the high heavens of this crypto universe.
We heard all the suggestions from the first project. That is why we decided to start from square one. We created the token to be as religious neutral as possible. So, token holders will feel more welcome to owning this token than before. We created the project as community-driven as possible. Us devs will not allocate tokens for ourselves. Like the rest of the community, we will have to purchase the tokens through Pancakeswap. And best of all, we still have the same fire within us. We love to build community and innovate, so let's continue what we started before. So, let's all go to the moon and beyond.
What is FaithCoin?
FaithCoin was a side project of 3 churchmates who share the love for cryptocurrency. At that time, most of the meme currency or community driven currency was related to violence, drugs or porn. As a result, we decided to launch a community-driven altcoin on the Ethereum network that will reflect our values.That is why the first contract was written with bible verses. The idea is that by transferring the token, you are also transferring the good word via a blockchain.But we immediately learned that a lot of the members of the FaithCoin community do not share the same beliefs as us. That is what we changed in this project. And the rest is history.
Is there a presale?
No, we would like to do this project as community-driven as possible. So, after burning half of the token, the majority of the token will be in a liquidity pool on pancakeswap. Everyone, from community members to administrators, will have an equal opportunity to own the token.
The devs left before, is there a chance of that happening again?
The great thing about the way we created this project is, the admins are only needed to deploy the contract. Unlike in the past, where the majority of the tokens were in the hands of the administrators, this time it is up to the community to decide what happens.also a huge relief for us to not worry too much about the economy and actually focus on forging partnerships, development and community building.
What will happen to the token holders from the previous contract?
We are discussing the possibility of swapping funds from the new token contract to the new one. We have to come up with a fair ratio and how much money we have to allocate for that purpose. We will update the community as soon as we figure it out.
Is FaithCoin's old contract still listed and trading on yobit?
Yes, though it doesn't have a lot of trading volume, the most important thing is we are still listed there. We will speak with the yobit team about the possibility of updating the listing to reflect the new contract.Of course, we will update the community on that.
