I have read up on this and will personally stay away from MCAN.

The company behind it is indeed listed on the New Connect part of the Polish stock exchange. It indeed has theoretically a plan to buy renewable energy plants using the MCAN token. However it is now in quite contentious discussions with the local regulator regarding transparency. E.g. last year the company showed a huge profit at first - it had no revenue, just updates the valued of the MCAN coin to really inflated values. There is a perceived lack of transparency surrounding the company activities.

There is no strong reputable crypto team behind it as well. From my personal point of view I would see this is an extremely risky venture, everyone should think several times before buying this coin.
