I would go for the keeping silent route because most trolls get high over the fact that people get worked up or triggered with their words, remember don't feed the trolls, you will lose in the end because they get their sense of self worth by triggering as much people as they possibly can.

In Short trolls are INSECURE type of person that cannot accept the achievements or the Level of other person thats why they will seek for anything that can bring them down.
