Your mentality is wrong, investing is done for the long term and not the short term, now if you want profits on the short term then there is nothing wrong with that but you should make an effort to research and apply the techniques used by traders to get profits out of the markets.

Now if what you really want to do is to invest and obtain profits for the long term then you need to learn how to think like an investor, an investor does not really care about getting profits during the next month but instead cares about investing in a good asset that sooner or later will give him significant profits.
