Such people find it difficult to identify problems because their character is more reserved, aloof and has no friends or close people and only chooses to take risks on their own and when there is no way out and it cannot be controlled choose to end life.
Those who can cure it are those who are sensitive and care to know their habits before going too far, gambling is very dangerous if you cannot control yourself and can become poor, become criminals, and even commit suicide.
That's not always the case. I know plenty of gambling addicts that have a normal life, family, kids, surrounded by loved ones and friends, they're definitely not alone, it's just a way to have something that gives thrills.
Moreover, it is commonly thought that gamblers are people that have nothing better to do, no serious career, and so on, but I've found that not to be true. Sometimes people with ambition and goal commitment are even more susceptible to addiction, because of their willingness to make things go their way, to push the matter through, etc.
