I dont think it matters why not, but rather which escrow they are comfortable with.
If they are not comfortable with any escrow, then id ask "why not"

Buck brings up a good point. Is this auction good with a specific credible Escrow? You have to understand a Newbie running an auction for someone else may steer people away.....
