Sometimes you could get away with a $1 fee, I remember few days ago the recommended fee from electrum was hovering somewhere at 15-20 sats/vB.
Lol I actually took advantage of that moment. It took like 30 hours tho, but who cares when you pay nothing for that. I really love this feature of Electrum like you can decide what fee you pay.
