Both is sure a good bet. Both however have their lapses. People believe BNB is all about hype because it's associated with the binance platform. While the huge transaction fee associated with ethereum is also a turn off. But with Eth who have achieved a whole lot of huge success over the past and on the verge of upgrading their network to reduce their transaction, i think Eth is a good bet though BNB also comes close
