Gold is a more reliable and demanded asset in the industry. I dn't think that one day the holders of cryptocurrencies can lose everything,because the total capitalization of bitcoin has already reached more than a trillion dollars.  As long as bitcoin is in demand in dollars, it will be a good asset for others now.
