The way thing have played out in the evolution of the forum, bought accounts are generally considered to be more untrustworthy than newb accounts. Which is why a lot of DT hold the opinion that account sellers and buyers should be red tagged.
You would probably still be better off starting your own account, which is yours from the ground up. Whether or not you want to associate it with this one is up to you.
