I hav my doubts when it comes to the purposes that XRP serves. What kind of problem does it solve? It is not decentralized and could be shut down any second by authorities. What is the advantage of a coin like XRP over the coins that are in the top ten? Maybe the transaction fee, ok. But it is a risky coin as it won't be able to resist intervention by court or authorities.
