On that list, except Sanju Samson, all others are seeming like a good selection. For the case of Sanju Samson, he is not performing consistently how other wicket keepers are doing; so in place of Sanju Samson, I may prefer Butler or KL Rahul who could bat well along with wicket keeping.
Findings of this year's IPL must be, Prithivi Shaw from DC and Chetan Sarkaria from RR. Padikkal from RCB performed well last year as well and this year hit a century but might need to prove his consistency to be consider a cut above Prithvi Shaw for opening.
Samson was a very poor choice for wicket keeper. For me, Rishabh Pant is the automatic pick (although Rahul and Buttler are not that bad either). Now Devdutt Padikkal is someone who in my eyes represent the future for India. Unfortunately the selectors have ignored him for quite a long time. Almost all the other youngsters have got a chance to represent India, but Devdutt is still waiting for his chance. Perhaps he doesn't have powerful backers in national team unlike the case with some of the other younger players.
