I chose it because I read a lot about burning bitcoin and how it got stuck in my brain

If you can sign a message via a wallet address then the chances for using that wallet address are slim at best - unless of course you were to dispose of the
privkey and had never installed a wallet address into a bitcoin wallet ever. There are more resilient wallet addresses that you can burn your crypto - another way to burn them is to donate them to a registered charity.
