A little late ... but for some reason I was absolutely sure that no outcome of the upcoming matches would prevent Manchester City from becoming the champion, (although I would have preferred Liverpool to get the cup). And today, seeing that United lost to Leicester, and I remembered that City was only 11th in the rankings in Nov, so I would not be surprised if the cost of extending the contract with Guardiola is prohibitive.
