No problems here!
There are NO firmware issues causing disconnects!...in my GS5's at least.
I'm using cpuminer - works great!
...
I see so many complaints and configuration issues coming up from cgminer and bfdminer yet, using cpuminer there are no such problems or issues! NONE! Why isn't everyone using cpuminer? I think, based on what I've seen and read, bdgminer should be called BFHminer (big fuggin headache) because it causes so many configuration and coding issues. Why bother with it then? I will say that cgminer seems to be a lot less buggy and most are having success with it. But I see few if any complaints about cpuminer from those who are using it. They seem to be simply hashing away with little to no issues.....me included!

Even if You can make miner better than bfgminer it would be much more polite not ugly naming it. Please stop making noise in forums. I'm sure I have been reading more that 10 times that You are using CPUminer with Your Gridseeds. And towards the members that are asking for help how to configure cgminer or bfgminer You keep throwing Your CPUminer recommendation. Some of us enjoy fixing things that are not working. Enjoying challenges.
Why I'm not using CPUminer?
Do You see Your hashrate in CPUminer or You are left on allways noted innacurate pool ratings?
Do You have possibility to specify fallback pool, or You believe that pools are working without downtime?
Yes, bfgminer can work with Gridseeds and Dualminers:
