Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous, bordering on straight up misadvertising and illegal. Don't they have a legal right to keep a promotion going as advertised or can they get away with it because Crypto Currencies are still in the "West West" stage?
I won't trust them again and I'm sure a LOT of miners feel the same.
