Have seen people who are not rich but are still respected by people. This set of people are just special because of the life style they exhibit. What gives this set of people respect is

Bold do not feel intimidated, believe in theirself
The best saying in my opinion is to treat others the way you want to be treated yourself. If you don't show respect to others they wing show you respect either. So it's best to respect every human and be kind to them. I strongly believe in karma. Also there is a difference between having respect and being afraid of someone. Just because some has a lot of money and is powerful, doesn't mean that he is respected.
