Still bitcoin is the best because its price it self cant change even downfall or uprise, while ethereum is the secondary coin next to bitcoin.
I think this depends on what you want, when you want to get a lot of profit quickly then bitcoin is the best choice because until now Ethereum is still following bitcoin price movements and too much supply of ethereum makes it difficult for the price to go up.
