I am not sure his hot wallet is empty. When they withdraw my 2.178 mbtc I can see that they returned 79 mbtc to their change address so I hope there is still money in the hot wallet because I cannot see any huge payouts on their site in a previous few days. Also my friend told me that he had case of empty hot wallet and that is indicated by pending status and not pending verification status.
