As of last week (5/17), GrowChain has entered full time development. The core team consists of 7 members with company registration and leadership in Taipei, Taiwan. Project leaders Tordan Ferreira and Ryan Wright are based in Asia (Taiwan) while the rest of the team is in Mexico and the USA.

GrowChain is the evolution of a concept conceived in 2015 and attempted to be brought to life in 2017. Due to unforeseen circumstances (namely exchange “hacks”) - our team, community and project in general suffered hefty setbacks. This project being GrowersClub / Growers International Inc (registered and trademarked incorporation) / GrowersCoin / GrowChain (soon to be registered and trademarked). We are committed to seeing the vision become a reality and this is a major step forward. GrowChain will be using the latest cryptocurrency technology to build tools and services for those seeking to offer more trust and transparency within their product supply chain and operating logistics. GrowChain will offer this and much more, launching 3rd or 4th quarter of this year. Official updates and progress starting now.

This last week, the team focused on researching new blockchain tech “HRC20” which is being developed by AltHash, a crypto technology company based out of Chicago, IL USA. An internal vote for the forking chain will be put forward to the team this week and a decision will be made. Announcement of our future blockchain will take place within just a few days. We are also focusing on the GrowChain tokenomics which will be presented to the public shortly after blockchain confirmation. Our logo and branding is also being worked on by a skilled set of designers, we hope to show examples in the coming weeks. A full announcement and website will be released after branding is complete.

Our goal will be to update at least once a week. Some updates will be more technical while others may be more philosophical or visionary. Please feel free to ask any questions. We are here and working everyday as a team, sometimes 10 hours a day. This is going to move fast. Everything is on the table and details will be expanded upon in further writings. Thank you!
