OG being the previous TI champions doesn't have any bearing with the current DPC season as they've changed the format for direct invites but they'll still get an invite to the TI EU qualifiers because they've participated in the upper division and same goes for the other teams that participated in the lower division.
because that would be a bit shitty for Valve to not invite OG in the International.
right now OG are out cos they don't have enough dpc points to reach the top 12 dpc ranking, but, they'll participate in the TI western EU qualifiers. They need to win that to qualify automatically to TI. But there will be some good teams there like Tundra, Vikin.gg and Nigma so it won't be a walk in the park for OG
