Neither this period nor the previous period reached 90% but in the USA everyone is celebrating the taproot lock-in.

However, several of these mining pools which were not signaling for taproot have now started signaling for taproot. At present values, 96.9% of the hashrate signals for taproot:

The majority of Bitcoin miners located in China and because they have trouble now, there is double celebration from the United States, they celebrating that Chinese miners shutting down and so the remaining western miners can push for taproot.
It is absurd to see miners with over 20% of the total Bitcoin hash-rate shutting down in the middle of a voting which will dramatically change Bitcoin.
