So I'm trying to purchase from a seller and he messages me from a different name. He then emails me from a very similar name that is on the Escrow list and I cant confirm the email as its hidden. They then switches emails after they realized that I thought i was talking to the escrow person.
I see. So a seller from this site instead of PMing you contacted you via email, and the email address he contacted you from was very similar to the name of the escrow you are planning on using? And then they switch back to a different email address after you point that out to them? That sounds like they are trying to scam you.
I get a message back with the fees of the escrow and address to send the BTC to with a quote of what i sent but the person I received the message from was my own account.
Are you sure you aren't just misreading the PM, or looking in your Outbox instead of your Inbox? The only way to actually receive a PM from yourself is if you send one to yourself. If you didn't do this, and you are sure you aren't misreading anything, then you should probably change your account password.
