After some research it seems I know what's the problem with you. The first time Equal token created is using Ethereum network (ERC-20), but on June 8, 2019 they announce to change the network to Binance smart chain (BEP-20) [1]

So you're need to swap your EQL-ERC20 to EQL-BEP2 from Equal wallet itself, but I didn't really sure it will works right now because they write July 1, 2019 is the last day to swap it.

But it's not wrong to try it since there's no way except this, if the features is gone... write a ticket to the support is the last chance.
