Besides getting information from bitcointalk I also seek information from various media sites like FB and TW.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0, will give you specific updates for each coin, which, you can never get from other websites. If you wan to follow a specific coin, just find their thread and you will give a very good insights on what's going on with their respective project.
