I also have been raising a pair of hamsters in the past. every 3 months give birth to about 10 hamsters, the cage is a full smell of urine.
Incredible procreation rate. It reminds me of a house I went into one time where they had the walls lined with cages for all the little rodents. I don't think there were many in there at the time, but they were set up to have tons, so maybe they were planning ahead a few months.
