Maybe you're right, and maybe you're not - because if you remember a case that lasted almost 2 years, then there is some logic that admins & global mods do not make such statements public. In the concrete case, saying "yes" or "no" at this point is certainly too early, but if we look realistically the chances are very small or none for a positive outcome.

If there is no community support and there is no mitigating circumstance like "I bought the account and the plagiarized post is not mine" (we had such a case), then such requests usually simply sink into oblivion - and most users accept it over time.
