Leafcoin, while still relatively young, was created in January 2014 but is an Altcoin w/ a Purpose and a future.  And you can't disregard the fact that it's Devs work on it's projects continuously and developed Leafcoin as a Longterm Coin, not creating a coin looking to profit for themselves.  Leafcoin is and will continue improving it's Foundation Site that is currently working towards taking Leafcoin donations that will go 100% Towards a To-be-Named Charity for Reforestation (Plant a Tree Project) http://foundation.leafco.in/.
