You wager 0.5 and a 100x should happen around once in 100 times which means $500 on average.
Its a little different on slot though, 100x happens a lot less than what you expect.
I mean 500 is just the average maybe I won't even get it after few thousand tries? That would be over a grand just to test a competition to win a prize.
Well its definitely not EV+ but its decent if you play slots regularly on the site. Instead of just playing with min bet, increasing your wager to $0.5 might be good because there is an ongoing contest. Extra $500 if you hit an exact x100 on top of the $500 that you won on the slot is kinda tempting if you play slots regularly
I would rather not do that neither. When you win something just take it and leave, keep gambling is the sure fire method for anyone to lose big time.
Handful amount of people in this board are gamblers, I mean real gamblers though so its either go big or bigger in this case
