Incessant discussions about Elon musk and whatever his tweets say is as well "non-crypto stuff" if you ask me, and the thing is even if it is related to crypto in one way or another, when too many threads on the same issue keep appearing, then it's more than needed and thus can be moved to the off-topic board.

I'm pretty sure the mods didn't move every single topic about Elon, including the ones made early enough when the tweet was still fresh to the off-topic board, but rather it's the new threads on the subject that are being moved, what that basically means is that if anyone still wants to talk about Elon and his tweets, there are more than enough topics to do so and thus no need to create more of them.
