I do not have an account on altscointalk but when doing research about a particular coin I sometimes land on their page, Bitcoin has everything you are looking for when it comes to discussion about Bitcoin and altcoin, this is the number one Cryptocurrency forum and newbies should start here, but I also recommend to participate and use altcoinstalk if you have the time.
