In my experience, people often underestimate themselves. I am speaking objectively now. Let's consider an ordinary young guy who successfully studied at the university and received an engineering degree in construction. These guys start looking for work and get rejected no less often than those guys who don't have a diploma at all. Why? They just don't know how to "sell" their skills. This is why it pays to use an outside perspective and write your resume with the help of a professional - https://resumewritinglab.com/construction-resume-writing-service.html By the way, those who are over 50 have almost the same problem and decide to change their field of activity to a more promising one. I have met those who think too much of themselves, but .. most of the people still tend to underestimate their advantages.
