As you might know already that we still have :
Facebook
Twitter
Instagram
Which is mainly used to influence the price also, look at Elon Musk. Honestly speaking I did not know about this platform for real. Right now I do think that this might not be that drastic as you think. We have many more options and at the same time people tend to have a lot of social media platforms in their Mobile phones, therefore if there is a problem with one, there is no reason to rush. At the same time there are community platforms like :
Bitcointalk !!
Therefore the people who are really involved can very easily come and join them, they will not only get all the gossip but at the same time all the information too. Therefore it might be more positive for them.
In China, it's very limited to use those social media platforms because just like Russia, they have their own social media that's being used and advised by the authority.

They don't use that much other social medias especially those that you've mentioned. They're supporting their very own social media and Weibo is one of it and there are others.

As a Chinese, what I want to say is that the government's ban on Weibo is not to ban BTC, but to make more people afraid of BTC, so as to better rule the society.
In China, many celebrities who have raised questions or have voices different from the government will be banned. We must use VPN to communicate with you. In fact, VPNs will also be monitored. They are not banning cryptocurrencies, they are maintaining rule
