I see this problem is really much simpler, for me in any field there will be new products created and if not competitive enough, old products will be left behind. And in the crypto market, this is very evident with the things that OP stated, if they do well, there will be no reason for the project to die.
yes you're right, so all that was replaced from the development of that project. so if they continue to develop their platform and provide new innovations, I'm sure even if the coin is old, it's still worth investing in.
