The threat is in the form of increasing global warming which results in climate change. Generating Bitcoin requires a capable computer to solve complex mathematical puzzles and high electricity consumption. so that some countries prohibit mining for several other reasons such as in China and Iran some time ago. if so will bitacoin and others be able to run forever or is this just an excuse to change the green field to red..

Nah,this is just propaganda made by the Bitcoin haters.
Energy consumption isn't equal to environmental pollution. The problem is that the coal burning power plants are polluting the environment, not the crypto miners.
Even if all the cryptocurrency miners in the world stopped working forever, the coal burning power plants will keep producing energy,by burning coal and therefore polluting the environment.

If they comply with all the environment-friendly regulations just as Greta Thunberg and Elon are asking I think it wouldn't hurt the industry but will give everyone a chance to be in the crypto space.

Coal is very much effective that is why even today, it's still being used. Some trains are still even working with coal and the countries using these are producing more carbon than China and Iran combined.
