The problem with the main chain is that it's currently mined on low difficulty, managing to make 3-4 block per minute, but still 500000 coins per block.
Is it was intended with the Dogecoin reward system.
The idea of 2.0 version is for the reward system only, when blockchain is currently on 0.00076 difficulty, the reward is also around 0.00075 coins per block.
So you get as much as your effort for the blockchain mining.
