Yeah, I was just writing a post about it and then clicked back to page 1 of this thread and lost everything I wrote for some reason.  I'm very happy I made it to #5 this time around, though I'm 99% sure I'll be back at #11 or so next month.  Some members have taken me up on my standing offer of a post review via PM, which made it easier to spread out the merits in May (or at least more of them to fewer members).

I don't think I'm ever going to approach LoyceV or the other consistent leaders of merit-giving--but that's quite all right by me.  It isn't a contest that I intend to win, and I'm happy that there are members giving out way more merits than I do from month to month.  That keeps the whole system working, and I definitely want to see the merit system functioning smoothly and hope that it's a permanent fixture on the forum.
